MEET CAITLIN SHIROCK
Caitlin Shirock is a Nashville-based artist known for her expressive, layered, and emotion-driven abstract paintings. After years of running Cash Color, a successful art print business, Caitlin has fully embraced her identity as a painter, focusing exclusively on original artwork.
Her new studio gallery in Nashville serves as both a creative workspace and exhibition space, where collectors and art lovers can engage with her work in person. She welcomes collaborations, gallery inquiries, and exhibition opportunities that align with her artistic vision.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Painting is my language—it’s how I process emotions, experiences, and movement in the world around me. My work is a balance of bold, intuitive strokes and delicate, intentional marks, reflecting both structure and fluidity.
In my early years as an artist, I played it safe—favoring controlled lines, solitary forms, and precise brushwork. Over time, I let go of these restrictions, stepping into a more fearless, expressive approach that embraces imperfection, emotion, and movement. My paintings are a reflection of this evolution—an exploration of texture, depth, and raw energy.
My hope is that my work connects with others on a personal level, inviting them to find their own meaning within the layers.
